Sympal was built on a simple frustration: too many engineering agencies were optimising for the size of the retainer, not the quality of the outcome. We started in 2019 with three engineers and a single rule — don't take a project unless you can define what success looks like before you start.

Expanded into data engineering after clients kept asking for help with the same problem — data they owned but couldn't use.
Launched our Custom AI practice before it was fashionable, focusing on measurable business outcomes rather than demo-ready prototypes.
